Mother's Day Flower Bouquets
Mother’s day is THIS Sunday. Calling ALL children…you better be READY! For me, I LOVE flowers. Breakfast in bed, flowers and I’m set…
As a mother, you end up connecting with many other mother’s for many different reasons. Your kids are in school together, on teams together or you are long time friends and both had children. Any way you cut it, you have mom friends and for Mother’s day, it’s really nice to recognize each other and support your besties.
With that, we’re showing you how to host a Mother’s Day Flower bouquet station. How sweet is this? Invite your Mom friends over, pop some bubbly and let everyone arrange their own bouquet.
To do this you’ll need:
- A surface to set up (I used a bar cart!)
- Flowers! And some greenery: I would suggest a dozen stems per bouquet so work backwards based on number of guests that you’re inviting. You can source flowers through your local flower market or by going to Trader Joe’s who usually has a great selection.
- Scissors: set out some scissors and clippers so your guests can clip the stems, leaves, paper, etc.
- Kraft paper + ribbon: Pre cut some craft paper so your guests can roll their flowers in it and then tie with ribbon making a beautiful bouquet that they can go home with.
To assemble, just pick your flowers (let your guests know you have 12 stems each for them) and arrange in a way that you find eye catching. You can rearrange further when you get home and choose the vase to put these in, also plug off any bushy looking leaves and cut your stems on an angle before you place into fresh water. Put into fresh cold water immediately and change the water daily to prolong the life of your bouquet.
Happy Mother’s Day! XO
