A 14th birthday dinner under the stars
When our clients give us the opportunity to style a dinner party, we go nuts for it. Setting the table may just be my favorite part of party planning.
One of our long time clients, asked us to set up a pretty dinner party for her daughter’s 14th birthday on the roof of her home in the West Village. Her roof deck is the most perfect place to host a dinner.
She was going to serve a Mediterranean meal of chicken kabobs, Greek salad, lemon potatoes and tons of spreads like hummus and babbaganoush. With the menu in mind, we devised a color palette of navy and hot pink with tones of gold mixed throughout. GAH. I love how this all turned out!
My favorite part of the set up was the all navy balloon garland that Maggie crafted to go over the outdoor fireplace. So chic and festive for a birthday celebration.
We also set up a photo station for the birthday girl and her friends to be able to snap photos of each other and then share and save them in glitter frames.
For seating cards Natalie sourced pink diamond gummies from Sugarfina. We love their packaging in the clear beautiful boxes that make for a perfect take home favor for the guests. Maggie designed name cards in a beautiful print to match the theme and color palette.
What a fun, gorgeous evening it was. We can’t wait for the next birthday celebration with our favorite West Village family!
