Our Favorite Fall Recipes with Simply Beautiful Eating
One of my favorite things about the fall season are the seasonal food items. I must admit I am a sucker for the Trader Joe’s seasonal items. My after work plans today are actually to head over there and pick up all my favorites!
But it is nice to cook a home cooked meal too. Like how good is a butternut squash soup at home on chilly fall night?! Curled up under a cozy blanket & paired with a Halloween movie, are you kidding me?? Sounds like the perfect night if you ask me!
So here are some easy recipes that you can put to use in the next couple of weeks as you do a little meal planning. Theres a good mix of breakfast and dinner!
Pumpkin, Squash & Banana Waffles
My boyfriend and I have a tradition that every year we go apple picking. We try to have the most perfect fall day by enjoying fall beers, wearing fall outfits, and of course have apple cider donuts! To me, this would be the perfect way to start the day. All I need to do is get a waffle maker!
SWEET & SOUR CRANBERRY MEATBALLS
I think I’ll need to try and recreate this recipe with some beyond meat! I love that it uses cranberries in the recipe, for a little added seasonal touch. The sauce on this recipe also looks delicious. I trust Debi with a good meatball recipe. Seri swears by her chicken meatballs!
TRIPLE CHEESE TART WITH GARDEN VEGGIE ROSES
Talk about a stunner! Whether your hosting a dinner party or bringing something to a potluck, this triple cheese tart is sue to impress! The little veggie roses are so cute! And I love the mix of zucchini, carrots, and cabbage! Put this tart on a cake stand and it will double as decor!
Rose Potato Tarts
Okay, another stunner here. WOW! What an awesome way to make potatoes look super fancy. This is the perfect app for any party you may be hosting this year. This would also be fun to do as a side for Thanksgiving!
Carrot Cake Waffles
Another waffle recipe but this time its carrot cake! Which is my absolute favorite type of cake. I personally love the taste of the carrots paired with this beautiful Brown Butter Cinnamon Yogurt Glaze. Also Debi has a great decor idea here, if you need to make your table look a little more styled just go outside and grab some pretty fall leaves!
No Bake Dark Chocolate Oreo Tart
This cake is for all the chocolate lovers out there… cough cough Maggie! Personally its a bit too much for me, but I know there are so many out there that are chocolate obsessed! For me, I love that it’s topped with blackberries and blueberries to give it that extra bit of fresh-ness.
