Brunch on a stone bench
After being up in Canada for 5 weeks straight, I was jonesing to see my LMP girls the second I got back. They drove all the way out to my house on Long Island so we could have some quality time together before the start of the school year which we all know, is going to be hectic for me.
To celebrate our reunion, we broke out the new wine glasses that I got from Estelle Colored Glass. I found out about this incredible after the black lives matter protests broke out and I was desperate to find a way to help. In this dark time, I discovered some of the most amazing black owned businesses and Estelle’s Colored Glass is one that I’m so incredibly grateful to have found because her glassware, cake stands and so much more are absolutely stunning and beautiful quality.
Since redoing my backyard last year, I had yet to use the stone bench that I had built into our retaining wall so I thought it would be a perfect spot for our ladies brunch.
We brought out pillows, the coffee table from my sofa set by the pool, tableware from the LMP shop and of course, the gorgeous new wine glasses. I served bagels with all of my favorites: lox, cream cheese, white fish salad, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and fruit. We toasted with mimosas and couldn’t have been happier having this lovely morning together.
