Ticket to Glow
Isn’t it great when you’re young and your face GLOWS? I remember those days! Hydration is key and a little shimmer and shine glow product for your cheekbones and t-zone make your face light up.
This labor day weekend, the Rev New York team flew to LA to produce an influencer event for L’Oreal and two of their sister brands, Nyx and Maybelline to showcase their GLOW products. Each brand was promoting a hero glow product and our goal was to get the influencers to talk all about it. The event was planned around the Beyonce Concert. She was preforming at the SoFi stadium in LA and the brands got a couple of suites right on the ground level for a prime view.
Before the concert, it was important to get the guests ready and excited for the big show. We devised a plan where we would train and send dancers to each of the homes to deliver a special gift and hand deliver their “Ticket to Glow”. This consisted of some pretty creative items…
First, the dancers wore sequin jerseys that were inspired by the set that Beyonce and Blue wore during one of the recent shows.
Second, the gifts had to be spectacular and we based them around the Beyonce vinyl record. We found a gold glitter, limited edition, record player - BANG! So cool. And a clear bag that the guests could wear to the concert (clear bag policy!), filled with the Glow products .
These folks went wild for this whole production from the dance to the gifts to the ticket.
The next day was show day. The festivities kicked off with a tailgate that we set up in the parking lot of the L’Oreal Headquarters which just so happened to be only 15 minutes away from the stadium so it was the perfect location.
We rented a party bus that we had wrapped in gold glitter and fully branded, we had a DJ who preformed at the tailgate and on the bus en route to the concert and we served snacks and bubbly.
In the suites at the concert, it was all about the GLOW. From a custom “you glow girl” neon to gold bowls and platters of product, disco balls and more, the suite looked so well branded and FUN!
The influencers snapped photos, ate great food and danced all night. At the end of the evening, they filled up bags with Beyonce themed swag like silver disco cowboy hats, flip flops so they could kick off their heels and comfortably walk back to the bus to get home, silver horse earrings, gloves and concert tees.
I think it’s safe to say it was a pretty memorable experience and the whole group was GLOWING!
