Thankful and not so Thankful
Do you guys want me to let you in on a little secret? Ok I will: The key to success is having a reliable team of talent.
This Thanksgiving, I am extra thankful for the "teams" in my life.
Obviously, starting with my family. Sometimes I'm in the shower, and I pinch myself. How did I get so lucky to find the perfect husband and later have stunning children who love eating Dim Sum as much as I do? Do they always behave? No. Am I now responsible for a couple of real live, human beings? Yes - Yikes. But no matter how you cut it, I am blessed.
Now let's talk about my LMP team.
I have built a squad at Little Miss Party made up of talented, smart, reliable and loyal boss babes. The success of LMP is all of ours to share and grow together. We are moving mountains in the world of event execution, creative content creation and a full blown online party supply shop. I am literally so proud I could bust.
One more major shout out to round out this year....

We love that you care and hope that we can continue to inspire you. Your support of our work and our business means the world to us. As thankful as I am this year, I will admit to you all that there are a few things that unfortunately, I'm not very thankful for.
Without causing any type of Internet political war which would make me very anxious, I'll just go ahead and say the first "thing" that I'm not thankful for rhymes with Dump.
The other thing that I am not very thankful for is the loss of a couple of very special people.
My friend Matt. Husband of my friend Emily, was taken from us this year way too suddenly and without a fair reason. I will never understand this. Never.
Same goes for our incredible intern, Natalie who lost her father this year after a long battle with cancer. People say "well that's not fair," and that's exactly it. These men leaving us was not fair.
I don't mean to get all dark on you here but this year was a weird one. Truthfully. In my heart of hearts I hope we can find a little more peace in our lives come 2018.
