Surprise, Seri! Celebrating Ten Years of Little Miss Party

It was almost ten years ago that Seri started planning parties. As with many small businesses, she enlisted the help of family and friends to help her come up with a name...and Little Miss Party was born! In the corporate world, employees are often celebrated for their loyalty, dedication, and hard work, especially on their work anniversaries. As our Chief Party Officer, Seri doesn’t have a boss to recognize her success and growth over the years. Nobody deserves to be recognized for their hard work more than our fearless leader, so we decided to throw her a congratulatory party to celebrate!

We spend so much time in the studio together that it was hard for us to find a way to throw Seri a celebration without giving away the surprise. Luckily, we always keep a Balloon Time Standard Helium Kit in our supply closet for moments when we need to throw together a party in a dash.

We found a perfect day when Seri had an afternoon appointment on her calendar. After we wrapped up a team meeting & Seri headed out, we quickly gathered up all our decor and got to work the second she was out the door. Knowing we only had a little over an hour to pull things together, Natalie immediately grabbed the Balloon Time Tank and started blowing up our balloons. We had purchased a jumbo tank, which can fill up to 27 latex balloons sized at 11 inches! The tank was so easy to use that Natalie was able to fill the balloons with time to spare. As she completed balloons, I attached fun ribbon tails that we had crafted in advance along with our mini balloon garland table runner.

Shaylan ran out to our corner store for a cake, champagne, and other treats. Natalie and I set up all the decor while Shaylan worked on creating a candy and cheese plate, transferring the cake to a cake stand, and pouring the champagne so our spread would be ready when Seri got back. 

We set ourselves up by the studio door to toss confetti when Seri arrived back from her meeting...she was SO surprised and thrilled! It’s not often that she has a party dedicated just to her, and she was touched by our card congratulating her on her successful career (and thanking her for bringing us along for the ride)! Most importantly, she loved the balloon decor and was very impressed with our speedy setup that transformed the studio in the short time she was gone! 

Our team loved being able to hit pause to celebrate together, with the most picture-perfect party that was reflective of Seri and the Little Miss Party brand. A toast to ten years of making magic for our family, friends, and clients & congratulations to Seri on this amazing milestone. May the next ten years be the best yet!
