Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour
I am officially feeling autumn in the air. Although it is a bummer that summer is almost over, I will admit that I am more of a fall person anyway. For this weeks cocktail , I decided to dive right into the Fall flavors to bring you guys a Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour.
This cocktail has just the right amount of sweet to balance the sour, and the maple flavor will certainly get you into the spirit of Fall.
Here's what you need: -bourbon whiskey (we used Bulleit) -real maple syrup -lemon juice -fresh lemon -fresh rosemary -ice -cocktail shaker
Here's what to do: 1) Add a few rosemary leaves, 3 oz. of bourbon, 1.5 oz lemon juice and 1/2 oz. of maple syrup to cocktail shaker. 2) Add a few pieces of ice to the shaker, close it up and shake well to combine all ingredients. 3) Add a few pieces of ice to each cocktail glass. Pour mixture from shaker over ice into each glass.
4) Garnish each glass with a fresh lemon slice and a sprig of rosemary.
This cocktail is an excellent one to make at home before going out on a crisp early fall night.. nothing warms you up quite like bourbon.
Until next week... cheers!
