Ringing in 25, Bravo Style
A few months ago we got an inquiry from a mom who wanted to throw her daughter, Grace, a fabulous birthday party to celebrate her 25th. After chatting with our birthday girl, she let us know about her true life obsession with the Bravo network. We thought “Wow, what an original theme for a party!” and with that we started dreaming up all the ways we could play up this fun idea.
For the venue, we choose a chic little club that we could easily style up - The VNYL. It was the perfect backdrop for all of the decor we planned. It has an awesome entrance area with tons of old records for guests to check out.
We really wanted the guests to wow’ed as soon as they walked in, so we filled the entire ceiling full of white balloons with gold strings. The result? Pure magic. We were in total awe of how cool it looked.
Next up we designed a huge statement vinyl, printed by Bombshell Graphics, to make it clear who’s birthday it was! We created this chic graphic that said “Whoop it up” with a custom logo we designed for the party which was a play on the Bravo network.
For additional decor on the bar, we customized a shotski which is another reference to one of Grace’s favorite shows. We put our hashtag for the party right in the center along with our logo on either side. During the party, she actually did a shot with two of her close friends! It was such a fun moment & keepsake from the party.
As far as drinks go, we created a custom bar menu & cocktail napkins with quotes from some of Grace’s favorite celebs.
Throughout the party we placed custom pillows on benches, couches, and in booths to add some flair.
Then in the center of the room we had an awesome photo booth by Studio Z that Grace and her friends took pics in all night long.
We personalized all of the props for the photo booth to make they were Bravo relevant! Some of our favorites were the custom quote talk bubbles, Bravo celeb heads, and this captains hat which tons of guests wore throughout the night.
Our DJ, Kemol of World Group Industries, totally rocked the house and had Grace and her friend’s up and dancing all night long. To give our DJ booth a little something we added this “I made it nice” banner and a colorful floral arrangement.
In each of the bathrooms we added a chic Sur candle.
Finally for dessert we got this delicious cake from Milk Bar and added this “It’s my fucking birthday” topper (my personal favorite piece of decor from the party).
Along with some cookies that guests took home at the end of the night.
We had such a fun time planning this Bravo themed bash. We can’t wait to get more fun themed parties like this in the months to come.
