This weekend, we hosted our first private event at The Social Society. The event was for a group of Moms who were looking to do something different, engaging and fun. When this customer had reached out to plan this event, we worked together to ensure it included an activity that would be enjoyed by the whole group. She chose, Gingerbread house decorating. But not the kind you eat, the kind you style in your home as decor. Apparently…gingerbread is very trendy this holiday season!

The event was AWESOME.  The ladies had the space to themselves and we had set them up with all of the craft supplies they needed, aprons, charcuterie cups, wine and water. We offered lemonade as a mocktail to those who were interested.

They used white + metallic puffy paint to decorate their wood houses.  They had glitter at their tables to sprinkle on as a sparkly accent taking their houses to the next level.  We played festive music and the craft was led by our Party Pros who made sure to take care of our guests every need.

Each participant was gifted one of our Holiday themed trays to take their decorated houses home with them. These trays are perfect for holiday entertaining and such a nice favor to take away after an evening of fun.

They had a blast.  They didn’t want to leave.  This seems to be the theme of ALL of our events.  Stay all night if you can! HA!  I love it.  I love seeing the community come together in our space to laugh, craft, sip and enjoy.  It’s beyond a pleasure to be a part of this.

We have been working on custom, private parties for many groups.  Friend groups, mom groups, networking groups!  We have a great space for crafting, mixology classes and so much more.  We have recently been working on custom event packages for birthdays for kids 12+ with specific themes like Harry Potter.
