Pear Mimosas

Wow, what a weekend! I hope you all had a fabulous Columbus Day weekend, filled with R&R.

We at LMP did a bit of traveling this weekend, which I'm sure you saw if you follow us on social media! While Seri was on an epic food tour of Chicago with Gavin and Ali, I was in New Orleans with my Dad for a weekend of food, music and booze.

I'll be making some NOLA-inspired cocktails in weeks to come, but for now... while I was away, Seri graciously took the reins on styling and shooting one of my cocktail ideas while I was off galavating through the French Quarter.  Introducing... the Pear Mimosa!

Here's what you'll need:

-your favorite sparkling white wine (Seri used prosecco) -pear juice (you can buy or make your own!) -fresh pears -cinnamon sticks

Here's what to do:

1) Pour some prosecco into your cocktail glasses, filling about 3/4 of the way.

2) Pour pear juice on top of prosecco, filling the glass the rest of the way. 3) Use your cinnamon stick to gently stir prosecco and pear juice together. Garnish your glass with a slice of fresh pear... and enjoy!

Seri styled this beauty in one of our favorite - this 'Drink Up Buttercup' glass, and served with the perfect spread of fruit, cheese and crackers.

This twist on a mimosa is still a great option to serve at a brunch of breakfast party! People love their mimosas, and it's always fun to surprise them with an unexpected, yet not too exotic flavor.

Until next week!
