Natalie's Vacation Favorites
I don’t know about the rest of you, but the minute I was vaxed, my bags were packed and I was ready to hit the road for a long awaited and deserved vacay. Let #hotgirlsummer begin! I recently took my first trip to Hawaii (more on this soon!) and it was a huge bucket lister for me! So naturally I bought my heart away. Here a list of some of the top items I brought along with me on my trip. I used these items daily, so they are all definitely worth it. Happy vacationing!!!! You deserve it!
MY VACAY PICKS
Teva Original Universal Sandal - Okay if you are going on any type of outdoorsy getaway, you need these sandals! They really do it all and I love the fact that they are unisex in style. They are so comfortable, literally the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. During my trip I wore them in the water and on hikes!
Women's High-Rise Bermuda Jean Shorts - Twice a year I switch my seasonal clothes over. So when I switched over to summer a few weeks ago, I realized that none of my shorts fit my properly since I barely left the house last summer. Long story short, I bought these babies and I have been wearing them non stop! They are currently sold out online, but I’m sure you could snag a pair in person. I love the mom jean style, it is so in right now and you know what? I’m sick of super tight jeans that make me sweat in the summer heat!
Floral Print Bikini - So I’m sure you’re aware that the 70’s have made a comeback and I have always felt that the 70’s is my true era. I love the music, the style, and the whole mindset! So when I saw this bathing suit, I knew I needed to have it. The bright colors in this pattern is something that I have really enjoyed adding to my bikini selection.
Ray-Ban Rb3447 Metal Round Sunglasses - These have just become a summer staple in general. They are my absolute favorite sunglasses. So light weight and trendy. I wore them with every single outfit. I highly recommend!
Sony A5100 16-50mm Mirrorless Digital Camera - I got this camera a few years ago for my birthday and it is truly the best little vacation camera. It’s a reasonable price (under $800, I’m sure you can find it for even less) for camera that is user friendly and still takes really high quality pics. It’s nice and compact and even have a screen that flips over the top so you can take selfies if you want! I have it in white but it also comes in black.
Sand Cloud Beach Towel - I got this as a gift for Christmas and I loved having it with me on my trip. It is a super light weight towel that is perfect for sticking in any beach tote or backpack and the thing that makes it amazing is that the material water repellent! That’s right you can use this towel all day long and it barely gets wet.
Travel Journal - The last thing I’d recommend bringing on your trip is a travel journal. I started doing this and I have loved it! It’s so great to write down all the places you loved, the experiences you’d recommend to others, and even tips about the place you’re in incase you ever come back. By a small one and make it all about that one location, or buy a big one and fill it with all your travels! Either way you’ll be glad you had it. It can act as souvenir that you’ll reuse over and over again.
