Turning 40 on Halloween...does it get more fun?! Dressing up, drinking champagne and dancing on the tables...that's just how it should be done. Rick's wife Emily called us for some help with decorating the private event space at Lafayette for a 40th birthday celebration on Halloween. Everyone is getting dressed up she told us. She also told us that Rick is often told he looks like George Clooney... The Silver Fox. Was the perfect theme! We thought black, gold, champagne, skulls and tassels. Rick's 40th should be celebrated in Clooney Style. We printed custom napkins, set up jumbo black balloons with handmade tissue tassel by One Stylish Party and sprayed skulls gold to style around the venue. For the flowers we combined tons of white dahlias with bright green stems and purple French Anemones in liquor bottles to add some manly color and intrigue to the party. Similar to Gavin & Mike's dress up birthday party last week, Rick's guests came in costume and got really into the spirit of Halloween. There were so many great costumes at this party we can't help but highlight a few of our faves... We set up a photo station where the guests could take advantage of being in costume and snap some shots with their friends. And to send everyone off for the night we created custom labels for mini bottles of champagne with a pretty paper straw attached to each. We heard the party was a blast and a great time was had by all. Happy 40th Rick. Cheers!
