We are fully in Holiday gifting and partying mode over here at LMP! Maggie is in town for the week working with us and also selling her gorgeous jewelry.  Have you guys heard about Ramblerose yet? If not, you NEED to check it out.  I have a bit of an obsession with her stuff and pretty much own one of every piece she makes.

But ANYWAY... because people are in Holiday shopping mode, Ramblerose and LMP decided to co-host a jewelry buying party for our friends in the LMP studio tonight.  Maggie has made friends with some of the awesome team members at Bulleit Whiskey, and they generously donated some of their Bourbon and Rye Whiskey for me to play around with and serve to our party guests!

Here's what you need: -1 bottle Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey -ginger beer -juice of 2 limes -2 fresh limes -mint leaves -ice

Here's what to do: 1) Fill each cocktail glass about 3/4 of the way with ice. 2) Measure 1/2 oz. of lime juice into each glass.  Also add in 1-2 lime wedges to each glass.

3) Crush 3 mint leaves between your fingers and add to each cocktail. 4) Measure out 1.5 oz. of Bulleit Bourbon whiskey into each glass.  Then, fill to the brim with ginger beer.

5) Add one lime wedge to the rim of each cocktail glass for garnish.

Voila! This cocktail is one of my new favorites.  It's the perfect way to introduce whiskey cocktails to a non-whiskey drinker... but also a complete hit with people who already love it. Plus, the ginger/ whiskey combo is ideal for the Holidays.

Stay tuned for more details from the party. Until next week!
