How to throw a Chic Bachelorette Party
Bachelorette parties can be very cliche...which can be really FUN! But also been there done that. For your next friend who gets hitched...step it up a bit. But don't break the bank. Here's how... Decorate: Grab a bag of balloons and delegate some or all of the girls to come over early to help you blow em up...Cover your floor with these bad boys and make it pretty...set the tone for a festive and pretty night. Toss some confetti: There's a big confetti trend happening. And why not? Everything is prettier with confetti tossed all over it. Pick up some confetti pops or DIY and cut up a stack of tissue paper. Give each girl a cone of confetti. Make sure to coordinate the guests arriving first. Be ready for the arrival of your bride-to-be and have the girls toss up the cones of confetti when she walks in. Ya hooey for getting married! Pop the Bubbly: We love serving the mini bottles of champagne. We design our own custom labels, stick a pretty paper straw or tinsel stir stick in there and you've got a classy little drink. Serve mini bottles of sparkling water alongside in case you have friends who aren't drinking. Everyone will need a drink in hand to say, CHEERS! Plan for your bar and set it on ice. If you're not planning on going anywhere you want to make sure your bar is stocked with a white wine (we like Babich which is light and crisp and reasonably priced), prosecco and/or champagne, lots of water and we always recommend a signature drink. Make sure to have extra ingredients for this drink handy because it's always the hit of the party! To keep drinks chilled fill a beverage tin or punch bowl with ice and set up with a wine opener and dishtowel so guests can wipe down the bottle as they help themselves. You're serving all those drinks...so don't forget the coasters and cocktail napkins! Set up a mini garbage can by the bar so guests can help keep your place tidy. Document it. Encourage your guests to snap some pictures: Put out photo props, hats, garland...and have some fun with your cameras. Post-party go through the shots and make your bride-to-be friend a little album...she will so appreciate the memories captured and documented from this special night! Chomp chomp. We're Little Miss Party so true to our name we love little bites when throwing a cocktail party. And we are not afraid of taking a little help from the store...frozen appetizers are a great way to save time and money and keep so well at room temperature so you're not hovering over the stove all night. Want to dress them up? Add some shredded cheese before you put in the oven and a dollop of spicy salsa when you take them out. Place on a bed of fresh greens to make serving pretty. Life is sweet, indulge in it! Our go to dessert: mini vanilla cupcakes. You can find them almost anywhere and we make 'em fancy with a gold tinsel stick. However you celebrate, do it in style. Put on your heels, colorful lipstick and come ready to PARTY. Having fun is the only way we know how...
