Gin Martini with Rosemary and Olives
It is officially fall, which means we have started the transition to sweaters, boots, and heartier drinks. Or at least, that's where I'm at!
Before I break out the pumpkin-flavored, cinnamon-rimmed goodness, I decided to make you all a Gin Martini, which really can be enjoyed any time of the year, but I feel like it goes really well with this crisp air.
Here's what you'll need: -your favorite gin -dry vermouth -cocktail olives -rosemary to garnish -cocktail shaker -ice
Here's what to do: 1) Chill your empty martini glasses in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 2) Remove glasses from the fridge, and pour some dry vermouth into each chilled glass. Swirl to coat the sides of the glass, and pour out any extra vermouth. 3) Add gin and ice to cocktail shaker - 2 oz. of gin per drink. Shake for about 30 seconds, until gin is chilled. 4) Pour 2 oz. of chilled gin into each vermouth-coated martini glass. 5) Garnish with olives and rosemary.
Sip, and enjoy!
I personally love to enjoy a martini at home while reading a good book, or when out for a night on the town. It's one of those drinks that feels so chic!
Hope you enjoy... see ya next week!
