DIY with LMP: Ice Cream Balloon
This week's DIY is CRAZY easy, but something we just had to share. Because it's way too cute not to. You all know how much we love ice cream and parties, so we decided to make something that could combine the two! We made a GIANT ice cream cone that will be the perfect centerpiece for your next ice cream social party.
You will need:
one giant pink (or other "ice cream" color) balloon one normal sized red balloon multiple colors of washi tape gold tin bucket (we spray painted ours gold!)
Step 1: Blow up your balloons. Don't get them done with helium, these balloons will need to stay weighed down!
Step 2: Place rolled pieces of tape around the inside of the rim. Place the giant pink balloon on top, with the knot facing inwards so it is hidden. Make sure the balloon is really well placed and sticking to the tape. Once it is on, you won't want to pull it off again to avoid popping.
Step 3: Add tape to the bottom of the small red balloon and carefully attach it to the top of the pink balloon, doing your best to hide the knot by facing it backwards.
Step 4: Peel off pieces of your washi tape, at about 2in long. Place them randomly all over the pink balloon, so they are spread out like sprinkles.
And just like that, you have the PERFECT centerpiece. Now, where's the real ice cream?!
