Did Anyone Say Donuts?

It’s no secret around here that we love a good Instagram holiday. Especially one that gives us an excuse to wear bright colors, take pictures, and eat a sweet treat!

Donut Day is a holiday we’ve done a ton for in the past, you can check out some of past faves - here, here, here, and here. Clearly its a favorite of ours!

So this year, on one of our big shoot trips down to Florida, we knew we had to plan ahead for #NationalDonutDay. As with most of our shoots, I usually do a little bit of planning before to make sure we are always creating content that feels different from things we’ve done in the past an keeps us inspired to create all week long! Honestly I think Maggie and Seri killed it with this one and totally accomplished the summery vibe we were going for.

We were clearly inspired by all the pinnacle markers of summer - flamingos, fresh fruit, and hanging by the pool. These fruit donuts seriously turned out adorable and were so easy to make!

Now go grab a donut for #NationalDonutDay, put on your favorite bathing suit, and sit by the pool. Summer is almost here and we seriously can’t wait!
