Brunch with some special Beauties

brunch9

Last week, in honor of Mother's Day, we had a small brunch for a couple of very special people.

Abby has been on the LMP team for a couple of years now and is not only a huge asset to the team but also plays a very important role in the lives of my children.

Kathleen has been with us for a year now and is the most amazing caregiver to my boys. She schleps them around town from class to class and cooks them the most fabulous meals.

Then there's Maggie. Maggie has been helping us out over the past year with all the beautiful graphics that you've seen in our LMP in a Box and so much more. Maggie has been crafting some pretty fantastic things like these gorgeous painted pots (DIY coming later this week) that we used for seating cards AND a gift for everyone to take home after brunch! The best part? She took these stunning photos for us!

I'm really lucky to have these ladies in my life. It's not easy to find people who you can trust and who are really smart and easy to be around.

To thank these special gals for all they have done for me in the past year, especially like acting as second mother's to the boys, I hosted an intimate "mother's day" brunch.

This was the perfect occasion for our EveryDay Soiree Party in a Box. I wanted to keep the menu simple with bagels, cream cheese, Nova lox and some fruit. We used the cake stand from our party box to serve sliced cantaloupe and Abby whipped up a fresh squeezed grapefruit juice mimosa which we served in the shatterproof Govino glasses that are included in our party box.

We laughed, read cards that the boys made for the girls (which doubled as "Queen for the Day" crowns) and took a zillion photos. Because these are the days and types of events that we want to remember, right?
