All Things Cinco De Mayo

Hands down one of the best holidays in my opinion to celebrate is Cinco De Mayo. Why? Cause two of my favorite things on the planet are Frozen Margaritas and home made Guac!

Besides all the good eats, the decor in general is just so fun! There is so many little things you can do to make your fiesta feel fun and vibrant. That’s why today we’re rounding up all our favorite ways to make your Cinco De Mayo party awesome!

First and foremost, you need to have a delicious cocktail at your party. We’ve done so many awesome drinks in the past that would be perfect. Some of our favorites are a: Spicy Paloma, Tequila Sunrise, Spicy Frozen Mango Margaritas, and of course a classic Marg with a Chipotle Salt rim.

Second, you need to have some type of Mexican inspired cuisine to serve your guests! Tacos are always my pick because they are so easy to make and your guests will enjoy being able to make their own flavor combinations. In the past we’ve done both traditional Dinner Tacos and Dessert ones! No matter which route you decide to go, you can’t go wrong!

Next, you’ve gotta nail the decor. There is SO much you can do without breaking the bank. So we’ve broken down some easy ways to decorate for you here:

Hang up a fun banner! We found this awesome paper one at Party City but you could even make this at some using some colorful paper.

Reuse old cans! We’ve done this in so many ways in the past but here are two of our favorite ways to repurpose a good ol’ can. You can use them as either a vase or just a container for your cutlery!

Get some fun drink stirrers or straws. Last year we made this fun Cactus stirrers using just tissue paper, construction paper, and hot glue. So easy and inexpensive!

And lastly, make sure to wear a fun outfit and invite all of your favorite party people.
