A Teddy Bear Themed Baby Shower
Just a few weeks ago a client reached out to us looking for some help planning her sister’s baby shower. She had a venue in place and just needed some help with decor and food. Her theme? Teddy Bears! Could that be any cuter for a baby shower?!
Once we saw the space, we knew there were so many opportunities to play up the theme and color scheme. The party was held in the party room of her sister’s building which happened to be all blue’s and grey’s. The baby to be is a boy so it was too good to be true!
Our main attraction was this lush sweets bar. For this we had an assortment of themed desserts like cookie teddy + baby blocks, mini cupcakes, rattle cake pops, and a beautiful two tier cake.
The rest of the space we kept very casual. Our client, Michelle, and her family made amazing centerpieces for each of the cocktail tables. So to compliment them we spray painted baby blocks to put all around.
Since we didn’t have table settings, we set up the food buffet style. That way it would be easy for guests to make a plate and find a place around this huge space to sit. We completed the food table with just a few florals in our color scheme, some blocks, a custom menu, and beautiful script baby balloon for the window.
For our bar, Maggie design custom water bottle labels that were cute, modern, and would go along with the rest of our decor.
The set up turned out better than we could have hoped and most importantly we had one happy mama by the end of it.
