A Fiesta First

There are so many fabulous themes that you could choose for your child's first birthday. One of our faves, is the fiesta first.

Bright, bold colors, cactus, margaritas for the mums....it's a theme that is aways fun to work with.

We recently styled a first birthday for the most adorable little gal. We found these amazing cactus plates perfect for desserts...

Our client's cousin made the beautiful desserts and this magnificent cake!

Meanwhile, my cousin, All that Glitters, made the custom cake topper. It was so perfect!

Lunch was catered by Tortilleria Nixtamal and was so delicious.

For the kiddos we set up a little area where they could crawl around. We found the most fabulous teepee from the Land of Nod plus tons of colorful, cute items from Ikea such as rugs and fiesta themed plush toys.

We set a stage with "DORIE" jumbo balloons in front of which a children's band played music to entertain the guests.

And all guests went home with goodies that our client sourced to perfectly fit the fiesta theme.

Dorie and her guests had a blast celebrating her first birthday Fiesta Style. We hope to celebrate many more with this sweet family!
