NATALIE
For my list, I wanted to select a couple of things that I have been obsessing over lately and that are not super obvious. NOTE: this is not a list of my favorite shows + movies but rather a list of things I feel need to be watched and are not getting enough hype! (All of my picks are available on Netflix)
TV Shows
CHEER! - Shaylan referred me to this and I said, “Why would I want to watch a show about cheerleading?”… I take it back!! TRUST US ON THIS!
Love is Blind - not a dating show person but once I started this, I couldn’t stop!
Dexter - perfect for a true crime lover and an all time fave of mine!
Black Mirror - thought provoking…. which I love, some episodes are ridiculous so don’t let that steer you away!
The Crown - beautiful show that is perfect for historical fiction lovers or people just obsessed with royalty like myself!
You - creepy and dramatic (my two favorite things)
When They See Us - based on a true story, very impactful!
Movies
The Two Popes - relatively new on Netflix, very cool perspective on the inside of the Catholic church which fascinates me!
Goodfellas - classic movie, one of my all time favorites!
Room - super depressing but an amazing movie
Her - very different, didn’t think I would like it but LOVED it
Dallas Buyer’s Club - based on a true story, Jared Leto kills it.
The Squid and The Whale - a weird film BUT tells an interesting perspective about a divorce story
If you’re hooked on any of the items listed above, let us know on Instagram! We’d love to see what you guys are watching.
XO,
Natalie
