A Perfect Fall Day with Macari Wines

We had a really hot summer here in NYC, so we couldn’t wait for fall to begin. While we waited impatiently to partake in our favorite fall activities, our friend Laura of Coastal Concierge helped us plan a team outing to Macari Vineyards for some wine tasting and much needed escape from the city. This week arrived, and we broke out the boots, scarves and sweaters for a day out on Long Island.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cool, fall weather. Along the way we passed some gorgeous farm stands, where we picked up some sunflowers, a pumpkin pie, and apple cider doughnuts to enjoy when we sat down for the lunch.

When we arrived, we were able to walk through the rows of beautiful vines, and take in the scenery. Our lovely friends from Macari gave us a sampling of a few of their favorites, and we enjoyed every last drop.

Finally, onto our favorite part- the snacks. Macari offers a selection of amazing meats and cheeses, and you know we can’t resist a good charcuterie board. And how perfect, to pair with our wine?!

After the craziness of the summer, and an ongoing events schedule, we forget to sit back and enjoy the company of our friends. Sometimes you just need a wonderful day with those you love, and Macari Vineyard was the perfect place to do just that.
