A Bridal Tea Party

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of styling a bridal shower for a brand new client at Alice's Tea Cup, Chapter II.  For those of you that don't know, Alice's Tea Cup is a NYC staple, for which people travel far and near to enjoy tea service or brunch surrounded by Alice in Wonderland -themed decor.

The party was in a private room with turquoise walls, so we decided to keep the decor simple and clean, focusing on white, gold and rose gold.

Along the back wall of the room, we styled jumbo rose gold balloons which spelled the bride's name - Marisa. We tied these balloons to Harney & Sons Wedding tea tins to weight them to the floor.

Along the center of the tables, we placed jumbo white balloons tails made of greenery and flower buds, tied to gold geometric figurines.

To fill in the spaces on the tables between the balloons, we placed fresh white and pink flowers, which Natalie arranged beautifully in gold bud vases.

At each setting, the venue placed beautifully vintage teas cups and saucers, which we supplemented with custom menus that Maggie designed and painted with gold foil.

In the front of the room, there were shelves built around a mantlepiece.  On one side of the shelves, we placed a guest book with a polaroid camera, film, washi tape, markers, and "advice for the bride and groom" cards, for guests to fill out and tape into the book. Above the book, we taped one of our rose gold script "love" balloons.

We loved styling these special details and being a part of Marisa's special day!
