Dry Gin Martini

There’s something so cool about a martini.  Maybe it’s from watching Sex and the City, but seeing people drink martinis always feels very New York to me.

This week, I’ve made a dry gin martini with an olive, which is a nice staple to mix in amongst all of the seasonal, sweet cocktails that are big this time of year.

Here’s what you need:
-gin
-dry vermouth
-orange bitters
-cocktail olive
-rosemary
-ice
-cocktail shaker

Here’s what to do:
1) To your cocktail shaker, add ice, 5 oz. gin, 1 oz. dry vermouth, and a dash of orange bitters.  Shake well.

2) Pour your shaken mixture into each martini glass, dividing evenly between glasses.

3) Garnish each glass with a cocktail olive and a sprig of rosemary. Serve!

Enjoy this drink while hosting a Holiday dinner party with friends and family, or serve at home before a night out on the town!

Until next week… Cheers!
