The "pop in" guests
The holidays are in full swing. It's time that time of year to spend time with family and friends and it's just all too common when guests show up unexpected. So what do you do? You need a Little Miss Party in a Box on hand! At the drop of a hat you can pull out plates, cups, cutlery and napkins.
The box includes a set of vintage glass bud vases. These vases will last you for the rest of your life. Add a few stems of flowers and you've got instant decor at any time.
Now how do you feed guests who show up when they aren't invited? My go to? Fruit and Veggies. Everyone loves something fresh to nosh on and I always have fresh fruit and veggies in the fridge for the kids.
How about a little something to sip on? During the fall season I love to serve cider. Cider with cinnamon sticks, sangria cider, mulled cider, you name it.
A fun DIY craft that you can do at the beginning on the season and then keep on your table all through the fall season is to spray pumpkins metallic gold or white. They are so pretty and serve as beautiful centerpieces for your table.
I do my best to really enjoy the fall season, weather and fresh food...because soon enough it's going to be winter and we will be cooped up and waiting for the farmer's markets to come back!
