The Best of Our Valentine's Day Shoots

We don’t take Valentine’s day lightly around here at LMP. With our signature color being hot pink, we love any holiday where we can make everything pink! Give us all the hearts, flowers, and girly decor!

Over the years we’ve done some killer shoots to celebrate the holiday of love. And while we can’t be together this year to put together another one, I thought I’d take you down a trip down memory lane with me.

One of my favorite shoots is this one we put together just last year! Maggie set up this amazing balloon and streamer installation at Seri’s house and it was so fun to shoot with. We also put together this amazing charcuterie board filled with alllllll the sweets.

Another favorite of mine was this pastel cocktail party. The balloons are a great example of how you don’t need a big intricate installation to make an impact. This garland was only about 4ft wide, and we set it up in the corner and just added a fun bar cart underneath. But the real star of the show were these conversation heart cookies Maggie made for the shoot. I mean they were to die for!!! I’m such a sucker for a good Mean Girls quote.

I loved this little fondue party, and fun fact it was one of my first shoots ever with LMP! The reason I love it is because it really is so simple to recreate. Stack up some pretty books, fill up some wine glasses, toss some confetti on the table and you’re done. Anything thats easy to set up and clean up, is the way to my heart.

This parfait party was actually a shoot Debi did and I LOVE how it turned out. What a great idea! Once we can start gathering again, this is so fun to put together for brunch with your girlfriends, baby shower, bridal shower, you name it. There are so many different toppings you can add. I also love the impact of these hanging flowers. And the best part is that she used silk flowers so you can tuck this thing away and wip it out for your next party.

Now this one was a party and not a shoot, but I wanted to give it an honorable mention because it was SO pretty. We had so much fun styling this bad boy. The balloons were so dreamy, I still think about them all the time! All we did was grab a whole bunch of different sized balloons in this Valentine’s Day color palette and tape them to the floor at different heights, add some fun tassel tails and you can make this fun installation for any party or photo backdrop!

This weekend no matter what you’re up to, grab yourself some flowers and a bar of chocolate… you deserve it! Happy Valentine’s Day!
