Sweet Little Loves

Luke and Harlow have a pretty special relationship. Ilana and I were pregnant at the same time with these two, only a few months apart. It was fun to go through the second pregnancy together while Gavin and Mazzy were building their adorable relationship and then come the second kids.

These two kill me. They are nothing like Gavin and Mazzy were. Those two used to fight like cats and dogs over absolutely everything. Luke and Harlow are the complete opposite. Everything they do is overly sweet, especially for 3 year olds.

"Harlow, would you like to play with my toy"? "Lukie, can I wipe your face"?

Their affection for each other is hard to believe sometimes.

We recently had Luke's parent teacher conference at preschool and one of the highlights was when they told us that Luke saves Harlow a seat at the lunch table every day.

Last year we took Gavin and Mazzy play dating around NYC for Valentine's Day. This year we thought it would be fun to take Luke and Harlow out for a date of their own. We learned that schlepping small children out in the freezing cold is a bad idea. So we found a cozy, lovely little spot in our area called Zucker Bakery and brought them in there to warm up.

We ordered mini donuts covered in sprinkles and hot chocolate.

The kids ate, snuggled, played, shared kisses and hugs. It was sweetness overload.

Huge thanks to Sas of Sasithon Photography for spending the afternoon with these two documenting their young love for each other. We will cherish these photos forever.
