St. Paddy's Days Past
As a beer lover, St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday near and dear to my heart. My boyfriend’s family also has Irish routes so they always make a big deal about the holiday, and I’m here for it! This year we even have a big family trip planned to visit for the first time so I’m extra pumped to celebrate this year!
Over the years we’ve done tons of St. Patrick’s day themed shoots, but here are some of my favorites in case you want to make an extra special coffee that morning or set a pretty table!
A Colorful runner
I love this DIY because it’s repurposing some old craft items you might have laying around! We had all of this yarn leftover from an event so we turned it into this super easy table runner. All you have to do is layout the yarn across the width of your table and tape underneath on the ends.
Gold flecked Vodka MartinI
Did you know there is such a thing as vodka with gold flakes in it?! I certainly didn’t. This is a super cool drink to serve if you are ever hosting any friends! It’s only three ingredients so you really cannot go wrong either. We styled this cocktail really simply on our green bar cart and then added fun items like greenery and this mini cake topped with sprinkles!
Pot of Gold Cupcakes
This shoot was actually before my time at LMP, but non the less - I thought these cupcakes were too cute not to share! All you gave to do is bake your cupcakes in these cauldron cupcake liners and then add tons of gold sprinkles to the top to make it look like a pot of gold. Then finish it off with either a clover or rainbow detail!
Rainbow Sprinkled Irish Coffee
To me St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be a holiday without a spiked Irish coffee. Really it’s just an excuse to add a little Bailey’s to your morning cup of Joe. But make it a little extra fun by adding some whipped cream and sprinkles to the top! I also think the rainbow clover confetti is a nice touch :)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
