Rosh Hashanah Favorites

Rosh Hashanah is a time of joy and celebration, but it’s also a deeply religious holiday that calls for reflection and introspection. By creating a beautiful and elegant Rosh Hashanah table, you can represent both the exuberance and solemnity of the Jewish New Year.

Family gatherings are a big part of Rosh Hashanah celebrations, and it is common for people to invite friends, neighbors, or members of the community to join them in celebrating.

It’s common for Jewish families to invite friends and family members into their homes to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. If you have been invited, you should feel quite honoured. It’s customary to bring a gift to say “thank you” for the invitation, and we have the assortment for you to choose from.

I am listing my favorite tablescape items and gifts to choose for you to find in our shop for this Rosh Hashanah.

  1. Metallic stripe napkins: While I love a cloth napkin, I love paper more. Makes for easy clean up when you’re hosting a crowd and I just love a crisp white napkin with a sophisticated metallic gold stripe that works with any tablescape color palette.

  2. Candlesticks: We have a variety of stunning candlesticks that make for beautiful decor within a tablescape or would be an unexpected and delightful hostess gift.

  3. Serving Tray: An essential for any dinner party is a serving tray. This melamine, non-breakable tray is perfect for serving a brisket or any of your favorite recipes for a family meal.

  4. Coasters: A must have if you’ve got a table that you love and don’t want to find drink rings on at the end of the night. Everyone should have a set of coasters!

  5. Vase: My favorite gift to give to a host is not just a bouquet of flowers, but a bouquet of flowers in a pretty vase. The vases that we have in our shop are not only pretty, but unique and clever!

  6. Candle + Matches: A classic gift that goes a long way if you put the thought in…is a candle. There are so many wonderful smelling candles these days and now witty ones too. Pair a candle with an adorable set of cowboy boot filled matches and your host will so appreciate the thought.
