Rosemary Gin & Gingers

Sometimes, when you're a party planner, there happens to be a teepee living in your office for a few days!

We do a ton of photo shoots at the LMP studio, and the one we did this past weekend happened to require this gorgeous lace teepee, and when the photographer asked us to house it for a few extra days, we jumped at the opportunity and knew that we had to make good use of it! Check out how Seri styled it yesterday with items from our Baby Boys Shower in a Box.

Earth Day also happens to be right around the corner, which also means that this teepee is definitely a perfect photoshoot prop.  For my Earth Day cocktail, I decided on Gin & Gingers garnished with fresh Rosemary.

I am not a big fan of Gin & Tonics, and I was gifted with a bottle of Gin by a friend from their recent trip to London.  There was no way that I was gonna let that bottle go to waste, so I went  looking for inspiration.  A different friend ordered a Gin & Ginger on a recent night out, I tried it, and BAM.. new favorite drink! ...Besides a margarita.  But seriously.. this bad boy is delicious, easy and really pretty to sip on.

Here's what you need:

-bottle of your favorite gin -your favorite ginger ale -ice -fresh sprigs of rosemary

Here's what to do: 1) Add a few cubes of ice to each of your cocktail glasses. 2) Add 1.5 oz of gin to each cocktail glass. 3) Top off each glass with ginger ale.

4) Add 1 sprig of fresh rosemary to each glass, and use the sprig to swirl and mix your drink.

Voila! You've got an easy, spring drink to sip on as you watch this unwelcome April snow come down through the window while you sit on your couch and wait for spring.  Or by your teepee.

But seriously, I love this drink and it has now become by go-to for nights out with friends.

I hope you enjoy it.. see ya next week!
