Peach Rosé Sangria

I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend! It definitely wasn't long enough for us over at LMP.  As I'm sure you saw on Snapchat, in addition to celebrating America's Independence, we also threw Seri's son, Luke, an EPIC Pirate Pool Party, complete with a bouncy house/ water slide combo, a clambake, and some pretty cute pirate bananas.  We will have all the details and pictures on the blog for you to check out later this week!

Hosting this big party during the holiday weekend brought some awesome guests who stayed for the weekend, so to welcome them I decided to whip up some Peach Rosé Sangria! You really just can't go wrong with Sangria in the summertime.

Seri and I made some snow cones last week in honor of Canada Day, and I had leftover homemade cherry thyme simple syrup that I wanted to make further use of, and it worked perfectly in my sangria! Plus, it gave it a GORGEOUS color.  Simple syrup can really go a long way.

Here's what you'll need:

-2 oz. simple syrup -1 bottle of rosé wine -2 oz. unflavored vodka -1 small bottle of pellegrino or other club soda -5 sliced peaches -10-12 fresh mint leaves -ice

Here's what to do:

1) Add 3 cups of ice to your pitcher.

2) Measure out 2 oz of vodka and 2 oz of your simple syrup into the pitcher on top of the ice.

3) Add sliced peaches and mint leaves to pitcher.

4) Pour bottle of rosé wine into pitcher.

5) Add bottle of club soda.  Stir mixture until well mixed.

That's it! This sangria is sweet and delicious, and goes down so easily that it is dangerous.  Perfect for poolside sippin'.

Thanks to Ali and Seri for modeling it so beautifully!

And now to recover from the long weekend... See you next week!
