Our Favorite Fall Parties

Without a doubt, fall is totally my favorite season. Everything about it makes me happy. The colors, the cozy sweaters, the seasonal treats and its typically when the parties get to start back up (2020 may look a little different but we can dream!).

Over the years at LMP, I’ve helped with my fair share of fall bashes. We loved each one in its own unique way. Take a trip down memory lane with us below!

A 40th Dinner Party

The first thought that comes to mind when I start thinking about fall events is dinner parties! I LOVE a good dinner party. You can really make each one feel so unique. This one happened to be for a 40th birthday party. We worked with a classic buffalo check print as the center of our color palette and worked in seasonal decor all down the center of the table to make the room feel cozy. This included things like spray painted gourds, sunflowers, magnolia leaves, and bark slabs to give the table some height.

The place settings were also not meant to be over looked here. We had custom laser cut name cards made for each guest and of course we had our very own Crafty Maggie make us these moody menu cards.

Fall Fashion Week

As you know, sometimes we get the pleasure of working with brands we love to style beautiful content as well as branded events. For this project we worked with Essie on a special New York Fashion week outing for some influencers that were coming to NYC for the shows. The star piece of decor for this set up was this gorgeous balloon installation we did that mirrored their fall nail polish collection.

Every time we work with a brand we always make sure to include fun decor items that bring it all together. For this event that included spray painted New York figurines and NYC skyline necklaces with custom name card backings.

A tented milestone birthday

One of the biggest struggles about fall is that some days can get REALLY cold. So how do you solve that problem? Tents! Keeps your guests warm and cozy in a big beautiful tent like the one we arranged for this backyard bash.

This party had a lot of fun personalized elements that we incorporated to make it feel intimate. One of our favorite touches would have to be these Marquee numbers we got of the birthday boys years to go over the bar. We also filled the front entrance of this client’s house with jumbo balloons to make a grand statement as guests entered the party and grabbed a cocktail.

A Dainty Baby Shower

This one will definitely go down as an all time favorite baby shower of ours. It was truly SO cute. While light blue isn’t typically considered a “fall color” this muted tone really made it feel like it was. I think my favorite detail from this party were these custom book themed cookies that were personalized to fit the color palette of the party.

To make the space feel more warm, we added a lot of natural tones such as a laser cut cake copper, wooden boxes to style on top of, bunting, and hand painted canvas gift bags.

It won’t be long until we’re back to fall partying, so stay tuned!

XO,
Natalie
