Office Chic
I get to party for a living. So I'm sure it comes as no surprise when I tell people how much I love my job. But don't get me wrong, what we do is back breaking-ly hard work. So when a long weekend comes along, especially following one heck of a summer, it's sorta hard to get back into the swing of things again.
I find that in order to be productive I need to surround myself with creativity and beautiful things.
This summer my friend Lisa of Abaca Interiors worked with me to finish my basement and bring my vision to life where I could have a space for the kids to play and for the adults to chill out.
Since we created an extra bedroom in the basement, I turned one of the guest rooms on the main floor from a bedroom to my official office.
Lisa found the most amazing and unique pieces to pull this room together.
She found that gorgeous rug on Ebay and filled the main wall with an oversized skull print that is so me!
The pin board from Pottery Barn Teen is perfectly placed above my desk where I can stick all of my inspiration.
I guess the only real problem here is that this gorgeous office is out east. And I just got back to the city. Ahhhhhh, it's OK! There are great things ahead in our office here as well. Stay tuned to find out what we're working on!
The beautiful photos above were taken by the talented Raquel Langworthy of Untamed Studios.
