Introducing... Beauty by Brittany Lo

We are excited to introduce our newest blog series... Beauty by Brittany Lo! Meet Brittany, Founder and CEO of Beautini.  Brittany will now be sharing her beauty secrets and tips on a weekly basis so if you have any questions that you'd like answered don't hesitate to ask. You can leave your beauty inquiries in the comment section on our blog, Instagram or Snapchat. Brittany will answer these each week within her post. Without further ado...here's Brittany!

There are so many things that I love about being an entrepreneur and running my own business. One of my favorite parts is being able to collaborate and commiserate with other girl bosses. So when an opportunity to work with the gals at Little Miss Party Planner presented itself, I instantly said yes!

My cousin (and Beautini’s Graphic Designer), Maggie, works with LMP as their resident DIY expert/ party stylist/ photographer.  She intro’ed me to Seri, Michelle and Abby, and over the past few months we have been working together whenever possible.  Most recently, I modeled for a photo shoot in the Hamptons to feature their Shower Party in a Box.  Needless to say, it was a ton of fun, and we decided to establish a more permanent working relationship, which is why I am excited to introduce the newest series on the LMP Blog… Beauty by Brittany Lo!

Every other Thursday, I will be dishing out hair and makeup tips specific to parties and events on the Little Miss Party Blog, and on my personal blog as well. Whether you need tips on getting ready for a girls night out or a wedding, I am your go-to beauty girl! If you have a specific event coming up and would like beauty advice for it, send me a note and I will do my best to cater one of the posts around your occasion.

A bit about me... As the Founder and CEO of Beautini, I've always seen the power that beauty has to empower women from the inside out. Prior to starting Beautini, I had a career in marketing working for brands including L'OREAL USA, Redken 5th Ave, and Sony Music Entertainment. With my B.S. degree from Babson College, I fused my business and beauty expertise to develop the unique concept of making makeovers fun. Today, Beautini does just that by providing women with beauty services and bubbly so they can sip and enjoy themselves, making for the ultimate beauty experience. Beautini has since received numerous awards including The Knot 2016 Best of Weddings Vendor, Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Award, and the 2016 Weddi Award for “Most Effective Branding.”

I currently operate Beautini's Headquarters out of Manhattan and am a contestant on Fox Network’s new dating show, Coupled. When I'm is not with my Beautini stylists, you can find me teaching brand marketing workshops, speaking at different universities, and at Sephora discovering the latest beauty products.

Now... back to business! For the recent shoot in the Hamptons, I did Seri’s and my own hair and makeup, and Maggie made a little film throughout the process.Take a look!

Our Hamptons bachelorette shoot took place during the day on a hot summer day. With this said it’s important to not go too dark with the eye and keep the coverage light. Seri doesn’t wear a ton of makeup nor does she need to so we kept her coverage light and airy. For those her are like her and hate the feeling of foundation but want to look flawless, try spot concealing blemishes, under the eyes and around the nose to conceal darkness and redness. If you desire more coverage then you can opt for foundation after that. Often times that is the perfect amount for a very natural look.

I’m so excited to be getting to know you all! If you have any questions or beauty-related topics you would like me to write about, please comment! Until next time…
