Hearty & Delicious Smoothie Recipes!

As you probably already know, my days are packed with activities between my kids, work, and maintaining a house! So I often forget to stop and EAT! I know that sounds crazy but the day just gets away from me and then before I know it, its 4pm and I’ve eaten NOTHING all day.

So to solve that problem, I’ve been starting my day by making smoothies! I make them early in the morning before the kids are up and that way I can just sip my tumbler all day long. It keeps you full and adds a little nutrition to your morning routine! And if it melts a little… no problem just add ice throughout the day!

I’ve been loving all the flavor combinations I’ve tried so far. Check out some of my favorites below!

MANGO LASSI

Is there anything better than tropical fruit smoothies in the summertime?! I love a good mango when I can find it a my local farm stand! A Little bit of honey & lemon to this bad boy and you’re set with a yummy drink for the rest of the day!

STRAWBERRY & BANANA

A classic combo! I love how Mandy sneaks in a little extra nutrition with the flax seeds! It blends right in with tiny seeds from the strawberries, so you don’t even notice! And mason jar - too cute!

PEACHES & RASPBERRY

Okay so I know we technically wrote this one as a cocktail recipe, but just take out the gin in this and you have a delicious flavor combo! I tried this recently and WOW even my kids asked for their own glass!

CRANBERRY & COCONUT

Obviously, by the photo you can tell that we made this smoothie around the winter time. But honestly, it is not a wintry recipe! Cranberry juice, honey, and coconut milk - yum! If you want to make it for your kids as a special treat, you can top it fun sugary toppings like we did here!
