DIY Heart Cookie Night with the Girls

Every year, when it comes to hosting for Galentine’s Day, I obsess over finding the PERFECT activity for my girls to do while we drink wine and yap. As they’re always looking to me as their “creative” friend, the pressure is ON to make each year’s celebration unique.

A couple years ago, I hosted a pastel-themed Galentine’s Day for Seri and Natalie at our office in NYC. I told them- just show up in something pastel! The rest of the theme fell right into place, along with these DIY Conversation Heart Cookies!

Now that we have the store, we’re all itching to recreate this celebration! We even have the perfect heart cookie cutters AND take-home treat boxes for everyone to bring their cookies home!

To this day, it was one of the most fun activities we’ve done for Galentine’s Day. Not only is it pretty simple, but at the end, everyone gets some sweet treats to bring home. I also love the fact that the edible frosting pen is just like a real marker. If your friends don’t want to write silly little notes on the cookies, you could draw fun patterns like mini flowers and hearts! There are just so many ways to take this theme to the next level, and The Social Society has everything we need to make it happen again… soon!
