Christmas Tree round up
It’s the most wonderful time…of the year. Isn’t it?!
Growing up, I always wanted a Christmas tree however my parents (and more importantly grandparents) would not allow it because we are Jewish and they feel strongly about our Jewish traditions and not crossing over into other religions. This of course is a very old school way of thinking. Once I started my own business and had a studio office space, I decided to put up a tree…but made it PINK! This way, it was more like an LMP tree than a Christmas tree. Ohhhh how I love it.
Over the years we have styled so many beautiful holiday parties and in honor of my great love of Christmas trees and now having my own for a few years, I thought I’d round up our faves! Here we go….
THE PINK TREE
My most favorite tree of course is the pink tree. Back when I bought it it was about 300 bucks! Now it’s 80 at Walmart! It’s so pretty and it’s so perfect for a Jewish gal who’s parents never allowed a tree in the house!
What’s even better is all of the memories that it holds and continues to make. We had so many LMP gift exchanges, holiday parties and photo shoots around this tree. Will never forget any of these special times!
THE HALLMARK TREE
This tree is traditional and so perfectly fitting for the Countdown to Christmas event that we set up for Hallmark’s Thanksgiving day parade viewing party. With classic colors like red, green and white plus some unexpected tones such as teal, this tree screams cosy, Christmas and celebrate!
THE WHITE TREE
A few years ago we set up a kids event for our friends at Hey Mama and their theme was ROCK N ROLL. We went with a funky, bright palette of white, pink and teal and it was SO FUN. We put up balloons that read: Jingle Bell Rock and we set up guitars all over the place. I’m obsessed with how the white tree turned out too. GORGEOUS! And so wintry!
THE RAINBOW TREE
This year we had the honor of decorating the Kids Cancer Clinic at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City. To keep things fun, playful and happy we decorated the trees with ornaments in the color of the rainbow. I just love how these turned out. They are flocked trees giving a super wintry feel and the rainbow ornaments are just so cute. Oh what fun!
THE PHOTO TREE
Many many moons ago, Michelle and I did a shoot for the holidays and set up a tree out of photos! HOW CUTE is this?! We used photos from our several years of being in business together and friends and I thought it looked so festive and fun on the wall. I just love it!
THE DECORATING
The best part about Christmas trees? The set up! And decorating them! We always do something fun when it comes to setting up the tree whether it’s eat cake and sip on hot cocoa or play Christmas tunes and dance around while we place ornaments and lights all over and put the gifts all under the tree.
DM us photos of your trees…we want to see them @littlemissparty. Merry Merry Christmas!
