A Day in the Life
Photography is not what it used to be. When I was a kid I used to snap the heck out of my little point and shoot camera. I would print photos monthly and document my family, friends and favorite moments. I have book cases full of photo albums with printed photos through the first 20 years of my life.
But then...things changed. Photos turned into blog posts, blog posts turned into Facebook photos and now we live life through Instagram. I print photos maybe twice a year now...and they are usually just to send out to my family. I've noticed that when I try to do an organized photo shoot with my children, they turn into little monsters and won't sit still or smile no matter what I bribe them with. However when my friend Dave comes over...even if he's planning to shoot them, he distracts the boys enough to snap the most beautiful, natural shots. Dave Robbins is a lifestyle photographer who captures people and moments when they are least expecting it. We most recently worked with Dave on this shoot of Harlow & Luke romping around Eastern Long Island decked in outfits from Janie and Jack. A day in the life...of Harlow & Luke. If you're looking to capture a day in the life of your child, children or anyone really, I highly recommend Dave. You can check out his new lifestyle blog here.
