The last party I attended...
On January 25th, Adam’s cousin Jason and his family who I adore, threw the most fabulous Bat Mitzvah for their daughter Riley. I quite literally…had the best time at a Bat Mitzvah to date. It was my kind of party with great food, pump you up music, games, beautiful decor and a well run timeline so the whole night flowed perfectly.
I have to admit, I love getting dolled up. Adam’s mom and her sister, our Aunt Ne, were staying in the city for the evening at the hotel above the venue where the Bat Mitzvah was being held. She asked me if I could arrange hair and make up for them and I said OF COURSE! And I crashed the party. I had my fave artists from Beautini come in and they made us look gorgeousssssss!
The Bat Mitzvah was at The Edison Ballroom. It’s a venue that we had looked at previously for LMP Events and had yet to work with. I was so happy to see how this party came to life there confirming it’s a fantastic venue. Hoping when COVID-19 ends we’ll have the opportunity to throw a party there.
Karen, Riley’s mom and my dear not only family member, but friend, asked us to arrive early for photos. I was so happy she did because these photos are stunning and mean the world to me. The photographer Karen had hired, Denis Leon, was a true gem. He was so sweet, well organized with ensuring he captured all family members and very funny! Really nice to be around.
Riley looked absolutely breathtaking. She killed it at her service earlier in the day making us so proud. It’s so obvious that Karen and Jason are raising one heck of a woman here. She’s going to do great things with her life, I know it.
I was also really impressed by the entertainment company, ESP Creative that Karen brought on for this event. They got the kids and adults so hyped up and the music was awesome. I danced all night. One of my favorite parts of the dance party was this guy who they had playing bongos on a plastic bucket. Luke got right up in there with him and was playing along. SO FUN!
Karen had ordered tons of super cool customized swag for the kids like customized hats, blankets and teddy bears that you could win in the claw machine games. Guests could get personalized photos through a glam photo booth. Maggie even hopped on board to help Riley and Karen come up with the perfect logos and it was spotted all over the venue, on cups, napkins and so much of the swag. Looked so fabulous!
I pray the day we can party again comes soon. Until then, we’ll stay safe and enjoy the photos and memories of these amazing times together with family and friends.
