A Bright End to 2019

Every year, the month of December seems to fly by with the number of parties, events, and gatherings. It’s easy to get caught up in the flurry without taking the time to reflect on the past year or spend time with people who really matter to us. The past few years, our team has made it a point to get our holiday party on the calendar in advance so we don’t miss out on the chance to get together and celebrate.

Our holiday party is no ordinary holiday party. Unlike the big companies where you’re a small fish in a big pond just trying to get to the bar, LMP hosts an intimate gathering with our only our closest friends, significant others and a few vendors we work with closely all year long.

Not only that, but Seri brings the team out to lunch, we hold a gift exchange, and we set up for a fun night together. Throughout the day, we spend time reflecting on the year and enjoy quality time together. We started off the day by getting our makeup done but our talented friend Katie Lugo, who you can reach through her instagram! Then we headed out to one of our favorite local spots, Rosemary’s (as recommended in Seri’s LMP Restaurant Hit List), where the chic interior was feeling perfectly festive.

When we head back to the office, we sit down for our gift exchange. It’s unlike any gift exchange you have probably seen in a work environment with the sheer amount of presents and the thought that goes into each one. Some might attribute it to our shopping addictions, but I say it’s because we really do love each other like family. The aftermath of opened wrapping paper says it all. Luckily, Natalie’s Holiday Gift Guide and the LMP Holiday Wish List helped our holiday shopping sprees for one another go over very smoothly.

And finally- what the day was leading up to. The party! A couple days in advance, I decorated the ceiling with garlands, ribbons, and steamers creating a dramatic effect across the whole room. I added a small disco ball on a command hook, and we were good to go! As per usual, Seri found the best ingredients for a killer charcuterie board, which she sprinkled with red and green M&Ms for a festive look. We filled every last gap with our favorite flavors of Kettle Brand chips as well, which are always such a hit. Shaylan made an amazing punch, we loaded up the bar cart, and got right to the party!

We were simply so grateful for all who came out to spend time with us that night. The twinkling lights of our pink Christmas tree and the shimmer of our ceiling decor made for a truly bright end to 2019, making us even more excited to see what happens in this next decade.
