LMP in Miami
As you probably saw, the LMP team recently visited the Museum of Ice Cream in Miami. While the trip to the museum was full of fun, color, and amazing photo ops, the visit itself only lasted about an hour. The rest of our day in Miami was spent exploring the boardwalk and enjoying the sunshine from our amazing hotel.
The reason for this trip was truly to see the MOIC but it was convenient because I had been in Miami that weekend for a personal trip. So I simply moved out my flight and waited for Abby and Seri to meet me for one extra day in the sun. We stayed at the incredible 1Hotel South Beach. 1Hotels are most well known for their beautiful decor and dedication to being environmentally friendly. I arrived first and was immediately welcomed by the open, calming lobby area filled with nooks of comfy furniture and tons of plants.
In fact, the entire hotel is filled with little details that made the entire ambiance calming yet lively. The mix of plant life contrasted perfectly with the well-designed spaces and expertly chosen decor.
When I set foot in our room, I was floored by the glass coffee table with a stump for the base, the vast king sized beds resting on a wooden platform, and the clean, earthy scented bathroom. In the morning, I enjoyed the luxury Spartan Gym before we all started our work day with some breakfast and email catch up in the room.
After the MOIC, we walked all the way down the boardwalk back to the hotel, getting sun on our faces and soaking in the vitamin D we’ve been missing out on in NYC. Next, we hit the rooftop restaurant for a delicious lunch at Watr, made ourselves our own little poolside office spot, and even hopped in the pool to enjoy a drink in our favorite Big Mouth drink floaties.
We truly made the most of our short 24 hour stay in Miami. We feel so blessed for this mini adventure that Seri was kind enough to bring us along for - we left feeling refreshed, full of sunshine and inspiration for the upcoming projects ahead. This little taste of sunshine and now we can’t wait for summer!
xoxo,
Maggie
