Hi All,
I am little miss party planners Torontonian sister Mandy!
You may recognize me from such posts on LMP as Luke’s Sip n See and Thanksgiving in Toronto.
Seri has asked me to write a little blog about my Honeymoon in Thailand. I just got back and cannot stop talking about it, so I was thrilled!

My husband Jason and I are not the “lounge on a beach all day” types. Though I always push for more beach time, it turns out my A.D.D. will only allow for me to “chill” for about 30 minutes at a time. After that I am usually yanking Jason’s earbuds out asking…”so what do you want to do” to which he replies “we’re doin’ it”. With our eagerness to explore, we saw a lot in our 2 ½ week trip. We travelled to Chiang Mai, Koh Phangan, Ko Samui, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Lanta and back to Bangkok. It was quite an adventure!!

As you may know based on her blogs, Seri is obsessed with good food. Well that runs in the family. Jason and I spent our time in Thailand looking for the best grub. Whether it was 2am on the streets of Bangkok or 4 in the afternoon at the Mantra Samui, we found some of the best Thai we’ve ever had! Some of our favorites include the Coconut Chicken Soup seen here:

Pad Thai (of course!)

Red Curry Fish…

And breakfasts from the Mantra Samaui (though not very Thai haha).

Aside from delicious food, we had many other adventures. Zip lining in the jungle and petting tigers in Chaing Mai:

Exploring the beautiful beaches on the islands…

And seeing the gorgeous temples in Bangkok…

As you can imagine, we had a blast in Thailand! We would move there and open up a little B&B that sells schnitzels for lunch. (We actually planned this out loud while lying on the beach).

If you plan on visiting Thailand any time soon here are some of our recommendations over there…
see: Reclining Buddah In Bangkok
do: Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai
eat: The Banana Pancakes (everywhere!)
stay: Cocohut in Koh Phangan; Mantra Samui in Koh Samui
Stay tuned for Hungary and Italy in September!

Love the pics! I am a total beach lounger and laughed out loud at your comment about opening a B&B….. because when Chris & I visited the Philippines we laid on the beach and discussed opening a beachfront joint where we would sell poutines and all things Canadiana!
How amazing are those pics of you and the tiger!!! Do you think Tessa would like a “big brother” like that? ;)
